Generations of Love Stories.

John and Carol are the legacy of Thornhill Farm. They visited Hendersonville, NC for the first time on their honeymoon. During that trip, John discovered what he called, “A little slice of heaven,” which is now known as Thornhill Farm.

Their love lives on in our family and in this farm, and you feel it the moment you arrive. John always urged everyone to “share the farm” and “bring friends to visit the farm.” He reminded us, “You stay here a week, and you’ll never want to leave.”

Today Thornhill Farm is 55 private acres of rolling pastures and meadows, with a pond, weathered barns, a stone wall and the Blue Ridge Mountains on the horizon. Deer, turkeys and songbirds wander the fields, and the sunrises, sunsets and starry nights are worth staying up for.

We keep John and Carol’s legacy alive by opening the farm for weddings, celebrations, family reunions, retreats and farmhouse stays. When you celebrate here, you become part of the story, and we hope Thornhill Farm helps you build a love inspired legacy of your own.
