About the Venue

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Hendersonville, NC, Thornhill Farm offers a breathtakingly rustic yet refined setting for weddings and special events year-round.

Our scenic and peaceful venue can comfortably accommodate 200 guests for ceremonies, receptions, and celebrations. Couples can exchange vows surrounded by the farm’s serene pastures and mountain views.

Saturday Wedding Package

  • Pre- and Post-Ceremony

    • 2-hour rehearsal dinner on grounds (date and time to be determined)
      Your choice of ceremony sites on the property.

    • Prep kitchen for caterers

    • Estate may be used for “save the date”, engagement photos and bridal portraits

    • Cozy farmhouse-decorated bride and groom quarters

    • Folding Tables and Chairs: 60” rounds or 8’ rectangular tables with padded chairs

    • Decorative wood tables for gifts, memory table, cake, guest book, decor, etc

    • Complete set up and take down for tables, chairs, and decorations (includes trash)

    • *Optional Tent set-up

    Wedding Ceremony

    • Use of entire estate on your wedding day from 11am to 11pm (can negotiate if the bridal party needs more time to get ready)

    • Parking area for 50 cars and a parking attendant

    • Use of wrap-around porch, front porch, rocking chairs, and swing

    • Acres of stunning photo ops - including barns, pond, fields, wild grasses & flowers, and a stone wall

FAQs

  • Up to 200 guests for ceremonies, receptions, and celebrations.

  • The entire estate is yours from 11am to 11pm on your wedding day. If your wedding party needs more time to get ready, just ask.

  • Yes. The farmhouse has cozy, decorated quarters for the bride and for the groom.

  • You choose. There are several ceremony sites across the property, with open fields, the pond, and the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance.

  • Yes. There is a parking area for 50 cars, plus a parking attendant on your wedding day.

  • Yes. There is a prep kitchen for caterers. Need a caterer? Our vendor list has local favorites.

  • The farmhouse on the property sleeps 8 to 10 in four bedrooms and books on VRBO. Nearby hotels include The Henderson, 1898 Waverly Inn, Hampton Inn Hendersonville, Echo Mountain Inn, and Mill House Lodge.

  • Yes. Engagement, save the date, and bridal portrait shoots are welcome as availability permits.

  • The barns make a beautiful backdrop for photos, but they are not stable enough for guests to go inside.

  • Downtown Hendersonville and Flat Rock are a 5 to 15 minute drive. Asheville is 30 to 45 minutes away.
